Roulette Game Is All About The Luck Of The Wheel

By James Ford

The Roulette Game is a favorite among many casino game enthusiasts because it is a classic, and it is quite entertaining. The Roulette Game can be played both in real live casinos and at a variety of online casino websites. If you are interested in playing the Roulette Game, you should first learn the rules, and find out what the best odds are when playing the game.

Roulette Game – Versions

There are two different versions of the Roulette Game. There is the American Roulette Game that consists of 38 numbers, and the European Roulette Game that has 37. The only difference between the two is the fact that in American roulette, there is one more green space marked 00. However, other than this difference, the two games are played virtually the same.

Roulette Game – Chance

Due to the fact that the Roulette Game is based entirely on chance, it is important for you not to lead yourself into believing that if you obtain a certain level of skill, that you will be able to gain the upper hand over the casino. Unlike the card games blackjack, poker and baccarat, no amount of strategy knowledge will make you a roulette master. That being the case, make sure you limit yourself to the Roulette Game, by only choosing to stay at the table for no more than 5 or 1o minutes.

A wise tip when playing the Roulette Game is to make bets that give you both an equal chance of either winning or losing. You can make this bet by either betting on black or red, or by betting on even or odd numbers. The odds for this bet are 1:1, and the only way that you can lose the Roulette Game is if the ball lands on the opposite number pattern, the opposite color, or if it lands on 0.

Enjoy playing the Roulette Game, and see if you have what it takes to be the next lucky winner of the spinning roulette wheel.Read More

Good Luck

By Steve Gillman

Good luck seems like random fortunate coincidences, but there are things we do that cause more of what we call “luck,” both good and bad. Usually, we don’t know we are doing these things, but what if we did? Could we then create luck?

Yes. Actually, there are at least seven specific techniques you can use to generate more good luck. This article is about just one of those techniques, one of the easiest ones. It is simply choosing to recognize the luck you already have, until your mind is trained to do this automatically.

Recognize Good Luck

Once, when I bought a particular car, I suddenly began to see the same model all over. The other cars had always been there, of course, but now I was noticing them, because my mind was “tuned into” that model. Perhaps you’ve had a similar experience. This is how our brains work. We see more of whatever we are looking for or “tuned into”, and this is true with luck too. Just look for it, and you’ll see more of it.

Meet The Lady Luck

By Sam Mazz

Some people tend to believe, that luck plays a big role in bringing someone wealth. It could be true in a sense, but then, one has to see what luck, actually is, and to whom does it favour.

Luck is a mystery which no one really, ever, understood. However, what we call luck is, actually, a ‘chance happening’ and, may be of two kinds:

One is as a result of a pure chance, something which one could not have visualised beforehand. The other is something which, one expects to happen, but with a varying degree of certainty.

For instance, imagine you find a large, raw diamond, worth thousands of pounds in the bush, while out on say, an African safari. This you would call luck – something which occurred as a result of a pure chance. You were not out there looking for diamonds, but just on a pleasure trip. You could not have foreseen finding of the diamond.

On the other hand, if you had gone into the jungle looking for diamonds, and found one, then it was something you were looking forward to, something you were expecting to happen, although the certainty of its happening would have varied from 0% to 100%.

The above example reveals the two-fold nature of luck – the luck which is seeking you, and, the luck which you are seeking. The former is something which could happen, but cannot be foreseen; the latter is something you want to make it happen, and for which, you are deliberately taking a chance by doing something, to see it happen. Here we are concerned with the second type of luck – a chance you are deliberately taking. And that is what really counts in the business world, and in the money-making game.

For example, if you leave your full-time employment, and go into business, then you are taking a chance to create your own luck, that is, expecting to make lots of money. Whether you will succeed in making ‘lots of money’, is something, you cannot really predict, but you are optimistic, that you will make good money. This is where you are purposely seeking to influence your luck, by taking a chance, or as we usually call it, a risk. If you succeeded in your business venture, then you would call yourself ‘lucky.’

Thus, those who take a chance and ACT, are actually going after luck, and usually, succeed in finding it, because both their physical and mental capabilities are working towards a single purpose. On the contrary, those who just depend on a chance happening of something, without any action on their part, are, in fact, courting ‘bad luck’, because they let opportunities pass them; their whole concentration remains pinned on a single, freak happening which they cannot influence, e. g. a big win at the football pools or a lottery of some kind. Such luck-seekers are like the lonely gold prospector who spends all his life looking for “the shiny metal”, but never finds it.

The Lady Luck is full of glamour and charms, but she is also very elusive. People who depend on her coming to them automatically, may never even see her face. She usually favours and smiles over those who go after her.

There is a story about a man who started believing in fate or luck only, when he heard a priest saying:

“God has undertaken to provide man with his bread. As long as he is going to live, God will feed him somehow.”

The man thought: “Since God will provide me with food, then why should I toil for it so much.”

And so, he sat down in a busy street, hoping his food will, somehow, come to him. Three days passed. No one gave him even a morsel of bread. Hunger made him weak and miserable. A wise old man, noticing his plight, stopped by, and said:

“You have all your limbs intact. Why don’t you work for living?”

The ‘beggar’ recounted to him what the priest had said. The old man smiled and said:

“Don’t be like a fox that feeds on bread crumbs of others. Be like a lion who hunts and kills, not only to feed itself, but some other creatures as well. ”Read More
